calibration buffers. Also changes display resolution.

Selects automatic endpoint detection.
Turns the display off, and places the meter in standby
mode. Wakes meter up.
Starts a calibration sequence in pH mode.
Starts sample measurement in both modes. Press again
to freeze display in manual endpoint mode.
