Function Description

The portable air conditioner offers multiple operating modes: cooling, dry (dehumidifying), fan, and sleep, making it suitable for both home and office use. It features two fan-speed levels, accessible via both the control panel and a remote control. The temperature setting range for this unit is between 62.6°F and 86°F (17°C and 30°C). The unit is equipped with several protection functions, including a 24-hour programmable timer, an auto condensate circle, a super intelligent temperature sensor, and water-full control with a warning system.

Important Technical Specifications

Electrical Specifications:

  • All wiring must comply with local and national electrical codes and be installed by a qualified electrician.
  • The unit must be grounded through its power cord plug when connected to a matching wall outlet.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person.
  • The appliance is not intended for use by children under 8 years old or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
  • Indoor use only; not for outdoor or humid environments like bathrooms.
  • Do not remove the ground prong, use adapters, or extension cords.
  • Never share the power outlet with other appliances.
  • Never connect or disconnect the power plug with wet hands.
  • Unplug the air conditioner before servicing.
  • Do not dismantle, repair, or modify the unit without authorization.
  • Do not put objects into the unit or obstruct air inlets/outlets.
  • Do not spray water or place the unit near water, gas appliances, fire, or flammable liquids.
  • Move and install the unit with two or more people.
  • Use on a single outlet circuit only.
  • The unit should be kept at least 1 meter away from TVs or radios to avoid electromagnetic interference.
  • Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight.
  • Do not tilt the unit more than 35 degrees or upside-down during transport.
  • Place the unit on a flat surface and upright with less than 5 degrees inclination.
  • The exhaust hose is 280mm-1500mm long. Do not use prolonged or different hoses, as this may affect the unit's functions and lead to overheating.

Fuse Parameters:

  • Voltage: 250V
  • Current: 3.15A

Operating Conditions:

  • Do not use the unit in cooling mode if the ambient temperature is higher than 95°F (35°C).
  • The unit operates more efficiently in certain room locations (refer to Installation and Adjustment section).

Usage Features

Control Panel Operation:

  • Power On/Off: Press the POWER button. The unit will emit a sound, the display window will show the ambient temperature (50-95°F/10-35°C), and the POWER indicator will turn red (standby) or green (operating).
  • Mode Selection: Press the MODE button to cycle through Cool, Dry, and Fan modes. The corresponding indicator will light up.
  • Temperature Adjustment: In Cool mode, press the Up or Down buttons to increase or decrease the temperature by 1.8°F (1°C) per press.
  • Celsius/Fahrenheit Conversion: Press the Up and Down buttons simultaneously to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
  • Fan Speed Adjustment: Press the FAN button to select High or Low fan speed.
  • Timer Operation: Press the TIMER button to set automatic OFF time (when running) or ON time (when off). The timer can be adjusted from 1 to 24 hours using the Up or Down buttons.
  • Sleep Mode: In Cool mode, press the "Timer" and "Down" buttons together to enter Sleep mode. The fan will automatically switch to low speed and cannot be adjusted. The set temperature will increase by 1°C after 2 hours, and again after another 2 hours, then remain unchanged.

Remote Control Operation: The remote control transmits signals to the unit and includes buttons for:

  • Power On/Off
  • Timer setting
  • High/Low fan speed (except in Dry and Sleep modes)
  • Temperature/Timer increase/decrease
  • Celsius/Fahrenheit interchange
  • Cool mode selection
  • Fan mode selection
  • Dry/Dehumidifying mode selection
  • Sleep function selection (under cooling mode)

Remote Control Battery Installation:

  • Requires two new alkaline AAA batteries.
  • Ensure correct polarity during installation.
  • Remove batteries if the air conditioner will not be used for an extended period.
  • Caution: If battery liquid leaks, wash skin/clothes with clean water and consult a doctor if ingested.

Multiple Protection Functions:

  • Anti-freeze Protection: If the tube temperature (Tp) is continuously ≤35.6°F (2°C) for 20 seconds in cooling mode, the compressor and water spraying motor will turn off, "E4" will display, and all buttons (except power) will be inactive. Protection is relieved when Tp ≥46.4°F (8°C), with a 3-minute delay for compressor restart.
  • Water-full Safety Alarm: When the water tank reaches its alarm level, a warning sounds, the unit stops, and "FL" flashes on the LED window. The condensate must be drained for the unit to resume operation.
  • Compressor Delay Protection: The compressor has a 3-minute start delay after being shut down, except for the first time the unit is energized.

Handling and Transportation:

  • Always hold the unit by its handles on the side panels and move it in an upright position.
  • Completely drain the water from the unit before handling or moving to prevent leakage.

Installation and Adjustment:

  • Keep the mobile air conditioner in an upright position for at least 2 hours before the first installation.
  • Place the unit on a flat surface.
  • Do not install or operate in bathrooms or other wet environments.
  • Exhaust Hose Assembly:
    • Extend the exhaust hose and screw the round end of the adapter into the hose anticlockwise (at least 3 laps for a secure connection).
    • Attach the front end of the exhaust hose assembly to the jugged position of the exhaust outlet on the back panel.
    • Push the assembly gently into the unit for a secure lock.
  • Window Seal-Plate Assembly:
    • Open the window halfway, place the seal-plate, and adjust its position (vertical or horizontal) according to the window's opening direction.
    • Extend the seal plate parts to match the window length and fix with screws.
    • Align the 4 openings on the window seal-plate with the exhaust hose adapter, slide the adapter downwards to lock them together.
    • Lock the self-tapping screw (φ4 mm) into the adapter hole.
  • Unit Placement: Move the unit with its exhaust hose assembly in front of the window, keeping it at least 19.7 inches (50 cm) away from walls or other objects.
  • Ensure the exhaust hose is not bent or flexed higher than 45 degrees to maintain good ventilation.

Drainage Instruction:

  • Manual Drain:
    • When the water-full indicator "FL" flashes, place a tray below the water outlet at the back of the unit.
    • Screw off the drain cover, unplug the water stopper, and allow water to flow into the tray.
    • Plug the stopper back in and screw the cover tightly after drainage.
    • Protect the drain cover and stopper. Move the unit carefully to avoid leakage. Tilt the unit slightly backward when draining. Block the drain hole quickly if the tray is full.
  • Continuous Drain:
    • Screw off the drain cover and unplug the water stopper.
    • Connect a φ13mm PVC drain hose to the drain hole, as deep as possible to avoid leakage.
    • Pull the drain hose to a bathroom or outdoors.
    • The drain hose must be installed before the unit starts working.
    • Manual drainage is suggested in cooling mode to recycle water for condenser cooling and enhance performance.
    • Place the drain hose in an inaccessible place, not higher than the drainage hole, and keep it straight without flexure.
    • Ensure the drain cover and stopper are properly installed when continuous drainage is not in use.

Maintenance Features
