General Operation:
- Place the cleaner on a flat, level surface.
- Ensure the On/Off Switch is "OFF" and the power cord is unplugged.
- Cautiously remove the Boiler cap and drain any remaining water.
- Fill the Measuring Cup with water (distilled or de-mineralized water is highly recommended to minimize mineral build-up).
- Use the Water Funnel to pour water into the Boiler, up to a maximum of 52 oz. (1,500 ml.).
- Replace the Boiler cap tightly.
- Plug in the power cord and switch the Lighted On/Off Switch to "ON."
- Allow 8-10 minutes for the water to heat.
- Direct the nozzle (with accessories) towards the desired surface and press the Steam Button. For sanitization, hold the nozzle approximately 1/2 inch from the surface for at least 5 seconds.
- The Steam Lock Switch can be used for continuous steam flow.
- Use a back-and-forth motion for cleaning and wipe steamed areas with a clean cloth while still wet (use caution on hot surfaces).
- After use, set the switch to "OFF" and unplug the unit.
Steam Mopping:
- Sweep or vacuum hard floors before mopping.
- Connect Extension Wands and Mop Head.
- Attach a Microfiber Pad to the Mop Head.
- Use a steady back-and-forth motion, working backward to avoid walking on freshly mopped areas.
- For effective bacteria killing, repeatedly mop a small area (approx. 3' x 3') for at least 2 minutes.
- Allow floors to air-dry; a fan can facilitate drying.
- Important: Do not use on unsealed hardwood or unglazed ceramic surfaces as this may cause warping or damage. Prolonged exposure to steam in one spot on sealed hardwood floors can also cause damage. Steam may remove wax sheen.
Maintenance Features:
- Mineral Build-Up Prevention: To minimize mineral build-up and prolong the life of the cleaner, use distilled or de-mineralized water.
- Monthly Cleaning Procedure for Mineral Build-Up:
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Allow the unit to cool for at least 30 minutes.
- Press and hold the Steam Button to release remaining steam pressure.
- Remove all accessories.

- Fill the Measuring Cup with 17 oz. (500 ml.) of distilled vinegar.
- Carefully pour vinegar into the Boiler and gently shake the unit.
- Allow to stand for at least 40 minutes.
- Drain the vinegar.
- Rinse the Boiler with fresh water, drain, and repeat until the vinegar odor dissipates.
- Loosely replace the Boiler cap.
