6. Making the most of the router
Start the motor and let the router get up to speed before starting to cut.
6.1 Making Copies
The router is equipped with a rotatable circular guide which is ideal for routing a
set of workpieces (making copies). By turning the circular guide the depth of cut
can be adjusted in 8 steps (3 mm difference between steps) without adjusting the
depth stop.
1. Undo the locking lever
2. Push the router body down until the cutter just touches the workpiece.
3. Rotate the circular guide so that the highest point comes under the depth stop.
4. Lower the depth stop onto the circular guide.
5. Tighten the locking screw.
6. Repeat steps 1-5 before the next cut.

5.9 Fitting the Parallel Guide
1. Slide the rods of the parallel guide through the hole in the base plate and
tighten the locking knobs (5)(17).
2. Attach the parallel guide to the rods, roughly set the parallel guide and tighten
the locking knobs.
3. Fine-adjust using the ne-adjustment knob.
