Make sure that there are no foreign objects around themuffler.
Inspect regularly to make sure that all bolts, nuts and screws are tight and that there is no visible damage.
Regularly check thefuel system for any visible signs of leakage at thetank, fuel cap or fuel lines.
Never attempt to tamper with or modify theproduct in any way.
Lubrication
Lubricate thepoints where theclutch lever attaches to thehandle
before every season.
Lubricate thewire guides and thetensioner bolt before and after
every season. Useafew drops of engine oil and/or spray lubricant
(e.g.5–56, WD 40). Donot over-lubricate!
Note: Make sure that no lubricant comes in contact with thedrive belt.
Changing oil
Note: Engine oil becomes hot after use. Lettheengine cool off abit before changing theoil.
1. Place anappropriate container under thedrain plug (10).
2. Remove thedrain screw and empty theoil.
3. Replace thescrew and fill with oil. SeetheOil level checks and refills section described above.
Care and maintenance
Note: Turn off theengine, remove theignition key and remove
thespark plug cable from thespark plug before servicing,
cleaning or maintenance.
