  If your CountyLine Power Pump isn't working, first ensure the power cord is securely plugged into the outlet. Disconnect power before handling the pump or motor. Also, verify that you have electrical power by checking for blown fuses or tripped breakers. Make sure the liquid level is high enough to activate the switch or controller and that the 3/16” (4.7 mm) vent hole in the discharge pipe isn't blocked. Check for any blockages in the pump inlet, impeller, check valve, or discharge pipe. Finally, ensure the float switch has maximum clearance.

  If your CountyLine Power Pump is not emptying the sump, ensure that all valves in the discharge line are fully open. Clear any blockages from the discharge pipe and check valve, and inspect the pump inlet and impeller for obstructions. The pump might be undersized, so consider whether a higher capacity pump is required. Also, check the float switch operation for maximum possible clearance.

Why CountyLine CLW550 stops and starts immediately?

  If your CountyLine Power Pump starts and then stops immediately, the thermal overload may have tripped. Disconnect the pump from the power source for 30 minutes to allow the motor to cool, then reconnect it. Also, check for the cause of overheating/overloading.
