Why does my CountyLine Power Pump lose prime?
    • K
      Kenneth RobbinsAug 9, 2025
Your CountyLine Power Pump may lose prime for several reasons. Air leaks in the suction line could be the cause, so check the suction piping. Another reason may be excessive suction lift, or operating too near shut-off point; if so, move the pump nearer the water level. Finally, the water level may be dropping while pumping, uncovering the suction piping. In this case, check the water supply and add length of pipe to suction to keep submerged end under water.
