What to do if my CountyLine CLW750-01 Power Pump fails to operate?
    • T
      Thomas LittleAug 5, 2025
If your CountyLine Power Pump isn't working, there are several things you can check. First, make sure the power cord is securely plugged into the outlet and that the outlet has power. Disconnect power to the outlet before handling the pump or motor. Also, ensure the liquid level is high enough to activate the switch or controller. Check that the 3/16” (4.7 mm) vent hole in the discharge pipe isn't blocked. Look for any blockages in the pump inlet, impeller, check valve, or discharge pipe. If the thermal overload has tripped, test start the pump; if it starts and stops, disconnect it from the power source for 30 minutes to allow the motor to cool, then reconnect. Finally, check the float switch operation for maximum possible clearance.

If your CountyLine Power Pump isn't emptying the sump, ensure all valves in the discharge line are fully open. Clean out the discharge pipe and check valve. Inspect the pump inlet and impeller for any blockages. If the pump isn't sized properly, a higher capacity pump may be required. Also, check the float switch operation for maximum possible clearance.
