How to fix unevenly positioned posts on my COVANA Hot Tub cover?
    • J
      Jessica OdonnellSep 16, 2025
Unevenly positioned posts on your COVANA Hot Tub cover can occur if the post screws are missing or loose. Lower the cover completely and screw in the self-drilling screws as shown in the installation manual. Additionally, check if a drive shaft has fallen off and re-install it, or if a chain skipped during operation and needs replacement. Finally, inspect the spring pin at the bottom of each jack for breakage and replace if necessary.

Why won't my COVANA OASIS Hot Tub elevate or lower, even though the motor is humming?
    • G
      Gina ScottAug 25, 2025
If your COVANA Hot Tub motor is humming but not elevating or lowering, it could be due to frozen posts. Try the following: * Remove any snow and ice from the Covana roof and release the shades/screens from their lower restraining brackets. * Turn the key off and on several times to try to free up the frozen post. * Slap the side of each post to help break loose any ice or frost. * Apply a silicone-based lubricant to the telescoping aluminum sleeves. * Ensure a proper seal by checking for leaks around the posts when the jets and air are on and the roof is lowered. If there’s a leak, loosen the outside post clamp, push down on the roof until the leak stops, and then retighten the clamp and reinsert the safety screw. * Perform the jack greasing procedure.

    • S
      Samuel Wheeler DDSSep 18, 2025
If the magnetic plate on your COVANA Hot Tub is not holding, there may be excessive tension in the Constant Tension System (CTS) 70. Lift the side of the outer shell where the cable exits from the inner shell; remove the CTS 70 from the steel frame and grease the interior surfaces. Also, check that the CTS 70 pulley carrier can travel the length of the CTS 70 without interfering with any object.

Why does my COVANA Outdoor Furnishing cover raise but not lower?
    • J
      Johnny StevensonSep 9, 2025
If your COVANA Outdoor Furnishing cover raises but does not lower, it could be due to a few potential issues. The cam plate may be incorrectly positioned or missing, or the key switch may be faulty. The limit switches might not be moving properly. A certified electrician should open the operator and check for faulty up and down limit switches. Remember to remove power before performing any electrical work, and inspect the terminals for corrosion, cleaning them if necessary.

If the posts of your COVANA Outdoor Furnishing are not equally positioned, it could be because the post screws attached to the inner sleeve are missing or have loosened. In this case, lower the cover completely and screw in the self-drilling screws. Another reason might be that a drive shaft has fallen off, so re-install any fallen drive shaft. A chain might have skipped during operation, requiring you to replace any broken chain. Finally, a spring pin at the bottom of a jack could be broken, so replace any missing or broken spring pin.
