12 Decommissioning and disposal
12.1 Decommissioning / Dismantling the machine
• Switch off the measuring system and disconnect the mains plug of the charger from the
socket.
Fatal injury hazard due to electric shock
There is a risk of fatal injury if work on the electric system is carried out by
unqualified personnel.
– All work at the electrical plant must only be carried out by electrical
specialist staff. Electricians have received special training in electrical
systems, know the risks posed by electricity and can avoid possible
hazards by acting correctly on their own.
Environmental harm due to incorrect disposal!
– Cleaning agents and auxiliary means used to clean the measuring system
must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations and in
accordance with the manufacturer’s safety data sheets.
– Dispose of the measuring system in an environment-friendly manner,
separating the various materials.
– Dispose of lubricants and lube oils in conformity with valid regulations or,
if necessary, contact CP Tech GmbH.
