REMOVING THE DISCHARGE CHUTE
1. Removethe wing knobthatsecuresthe dischargechutein
place.
2. Shiftthedischargechutetothe rightto unlockit..
3. Removethe dischargechutefromthedeckdischarge
openingbyliftingit offthedeck.See Figure1-1.
INSTALLING THE MULCH PLUG
1. Installthemulchplugintothedeckdischargeopeningby
positioningtheshoulderboltsfoundon thebaseoftheplug
intotheholesonthedeck.Thestudonthedecksurfacewill
fitthroughtheholeon theupperportionofthemulchplug.

2. Shiftthemulchplugtotheleftto lockitin place,beingsure
toengagethesafetyinterlockswitch.
3. Securethemulchplugbytighteningthewingknobonthe
stud.
