Why does my Craftsman 580.767200 have low pressure?
    • C
      Catherine HughesJul 31, 2025
There are several reasons why your Craftsman Pressure Washer might have low pressure. It could be due to the nozzle being in low pressure mode—try pulling it backward for high pressure. Other potential causes include a blocked water inlet (clear it), an inadequate water supply (provide adequate flow), a kinked or leaking inlet hose (straighten or patch it), a clogged inlet hose strainer (check and clean it), water supply being too hot (use cooler water), a blocked or leaking high pressure hose (clear any blockages), a leaking gun (replace it), or an obstructed nozzle (clean it). If none of these steps work, the pump may be faulty, and you should contact Sears service facility.

What to do if my Craftsman Pressure Washer won't start?
    • S
      Stephen RileyAug 8, 2025
If your Craftsman Pressure Washer won't start or runs rough, several factors could be the cause. Check the following: * Ensure the oil level is adequate by filling the crankcase to the proper level. * Clean or replace the air cleaner if it's dirty. * Make sure you have gasoline in the tank, and if the gasoline is stale, drain the tank and fill it with fresh fuel. * Confirm the spark plug wire is connected to the spark plug, and replace the spark plug if it's bad. * Also, drain the gas tank and fill it with fresh fuel if there is water in the gasoline. If the engine is overchoking, open the choke fully and crank the engine. For excessively rich fuel mixture, intake valve issues, or lost compression, contact Sears service facility.

      Meredith BrewerAug 15, 2025
If your Craftsman Pressure Washer engine shuts down during operation, the most likely reason is that it is out of gasoline. Refill the fuel tank.

How to fix detergent not mixing in my Craftsman Pressure Washer?
    • C
      christina42Aug 22, 2025
If the detergent is not mixing with the spray in your Craftsman Pressure Washer, make sure the detergent siphoning tube is fully submerged in the detergent. Also, check the chemical filter and clean or replace it if it's clogged. Ensure the nozzle is in low pressure mode by pushing it forward. For dirty in-line filter, see “Check In-Line Filter” on page 10.
