Remove the fuel lter
Close-off the fuel supply to the engine. Remove the en-
tire lter with the aid of a special tool. It is possible that
the lter still contains some fuel, which please collect
and treat it in accordance with the environmental direc-
tives in your country.
Do not smoke when working at or around
the fuel system and avoid open re.
Fit the fuel lter
Clean the surface to touch the engine before tting the
lter. Grease the rubber ring with clean engine oil. Fill
the lter with clean diesel fuel. Position the lter against
the lter housing and tighten it with one half to three
quarters of a turn.
Clean the lter of the fuel lift pump and reopen the cock
of the fuel supply.
