11 Maintenance and inspection
Check the exible engine mountings
Use a suitable tool to make sure that the bolts on the
engine bed and the nuts on the spindle are securely tigh-
tened. The rubber element must not show any ssures.
Should this be the case, then the engine mounting must
be replaced.
Make sure as well that the damper ele-
ment is still sufciently exible. If not
so, the engine must be realigned.
Verify the hose connections
Inspect all hoses of the cooling system and of the fuel
system. Check for loose connections or cracks and s-
sures in the rubber hoses. In such case the hose must
be replaced.
Verify the fasteners
Make sure that all and sundry bolts, nuts and screws are
well tightened.
