around.Stopthe tractorimmediatelyif someoneentersthe area.
TheREVERSECAUTIONMODEpositionof the keyswitchmodule
allowsthetractorto beoperatedinreversewiththeblades(PTO)
engaged.

Tousethe REVERSECAUTIONMODE:

1. Startengineas instructedundertheheadingStartingTheEngine.
2. TurnthekeyfromtheNORMALMO%NG (Green)positiontothe
REVERSECAUTIONMODE(Yellow)positionof thekeyswitch

3. DepresstheREVERSEPUSHBUTTON(Orange,Triangular
Button)atthe top,rightcornerof the keyswitchmodule.The red
indicatorlightat the top,leftcornerof thekeyswitchmodulewill
beON whileactivated.SeeFigure8.

4. Onceactivated(indicatorlightON),thetractorcanbedrivenin
reversewiththecuttingblades(PTO)engaged.
5. Alwayslookdownand behindbeforeandwhilebackingtomake
surenochildrenarearound.
6. Afterresumingforwardmotion,returnthekeyto the NORMAL
MO%NG position.
iMPORTANT: TheREVERSECAUTIONMODEwill remainactivated
until:

Thekeyisplacedineitherthe NORMALMO%NGposition

Theoperatorengagesthe parkingbrakeby fullydepressing
thebrakepedalandholdingitdownwhilemovingthespeed
controlleverintothe PARKBRAKEposition.
ENGAGING THE PARKING BRAKE
To engage the parking brake:
1. Fullydepressthe brakepedalandholdit downwithyourfoot.
2. Movethe parkingbrakeleverall the waydownand intothe
parkingbrake(ON)position.
3. Releasethe brakepedalto allowthe parkingbraketoengage.
To release the parking brake:
1. Depressthe brakepedaland movetheparkingbrakeleveroutof
theparkingbrake(ON)positionandintotheOFFposition.
SETTING THE CUTTING HEIGHT

Selecttheheightpositionof thecuttingdeckbyplacingthedeck
liftleverinanyof thesixdifferentcutting heightnotchesonthe
rightsideofthe fender.
Adjustthedeckwheelsso thattheyarebetween1A-inchand
Y2-inchabovethegroundwhenthe tractoris ona smooth,flat
surfacesuchasa driveway.
a. Adjustthedeckwheelsbyremovingthe flangelocknutand
shoulderboltthatsecureseachwheeland movingitintoone
ofthe holesthatallowsthe wheelsto be between_A-inchand
Y2-inchabovethegroundwhenthe tractoris ona smooth,
flat surfacesuchasa driveway.SeeFig.9
