JUMP STARTING

1. Connectpositive(+)cableto positivepost(+)of yourtractor's
dischargedbattery.
2. Connecttheotherendof thecabletothe (positive+) postofthe
jumperbattery.
3. Connectthesecondcable (negative-) to theotherpostofthe
jumperbattery.
4. Connecttheotherendof thenegativecabletothe engineblockof
thetractor,awayfromthebattery.Attachtoanunpaintedpartto
assurea goodconnection.
Ifthejumperbatteryis installedona vehicle(i.e.car,truck),do NOT
startthevehicle'senginewhenjumpstartingyourtractor.
5. Startthetractor(as instructedearlierin thissectionofthis
manual).
6. Set thetractor'sparkingbrakebeforeremovingthejumpercables,
in reverseorderofconnection.
