Why won't my Craftsman M125 Lawn Mower start?
    • M
      Mr. Vincent GrahamAug 12, 2025
If your Craftsman Lawn Mower engine won't start, several factors could be at play. First, make sure the blade control is engaged. Next, check that the spark plug boot is connected securely. An empty or stale fuel tank can also prevent starting, so fill it with clean, fresh gasoline. If your mower has a primer, use it as instructed. A faulty spark plug might be the culprit, requiring cleaning, gap adjustment, or replacement. In case the engine is flooded, wait a few minutes before attempting to restart. Finally, a blocked fuel line can cause starting issues; contact a Parts & Repair Center to have it cleaned.

Why does my Craftsman M125 have an uneven cut?
    • A
      Alexis JacksonAug 15, 2025
If your Craftsman Lawn Mower is providing an uneven cut, ensure the wheels are positioned correctly by adjusting the cutting height lever on the right front and right rear wheels to the same position. Also, a dull blade can cause an uneven cut, so sharpen or replace it.

Why does my Craftsman Lawn Mower engine run erratic?
    • J
      Jeffrey PaulAug 19, 2025
If your Craftsman Lawn Mower engine is running erratically, start by checking the spark plug boot to ensure it is tightly connected. Stale fuel can also cause this issue, so replace it with fresh gasoline. Make sure the vent in the gas cap isn't plugged; clear it if necessary. Water or dirt in the fuel system could be the problem; run the engine until it stops from lack of fuel, then refill with fresh fuel. If the air cleaner is dirty, refer to the Engine Manual for Air Cleaner Maintenance. A blocked fuel line might also be the cause; contact a Parts & Repair Center to have the fuel line cleaned.

What to do if my Craftsman Lawn Mower will not mulch grass?
    • T
      tracymillerAug 23, 2025
If your Craftsman Lawn Mower is not mulching grass effectively, it might be due to wet or excessively high grass or a dull blade. Avoid mowing when the grass is wet; wait until it's dry. If the grass is too high, mow it first at a high setting, then mow again at the desired height, or reduce the cutting path width. If the blade is dull, sharpen or replace it.

    • A
      Antonio NelsonAug 27, 2025

    • F
      Frances ContrerasAug 31, 2025
If your Craftsman Lawn Mower is vibrating excessively, it could be due to a loose or unbalanced cutting blade. Tighten the blade and adapter, and balance the blade. Alternatively, the cutting blade might be bent, in which case you should replace it.

Why does my Craftsman M125 Lawn Mower idle poorly?
    • C
      Christine BlairSep 4, 2025
