GX-130C STEREO CHORUS AMPLIFIER
FRONT PANEL INPUT SECTION
1. OdB Input jack accepts a standard 1/d"
phone plug and is suitable for any low to line
level sigral source.
2. -6dB Input jack is a padded 6dB lor ac¬
cept ng hofte' inputs. If both jacks are used,
this jack s not padded and will be equal to
the CdB mpuc.
LEAD CHANNEL CONTROLS
The Lead Channel is a high gain channe designed
to be used for medium :o heavy distortion sounds
3. Gain is used to set tie level of distortion.
4. Low adjusts the amount of ow frequency
tone.
5. Shape adjusts the general tone Coun¬
terclockwise emphasizes mid-range frequen¬
cies and clockwise emphasizes low and hi£i
frequencies.
6. High adjusts the amount of high frequency
tone or “presence".
7. level control the overall volume and snould
be used m conjunction with the Gan control
(3).
CHANNEL SWITCHING CONTROLS
8 Lead Channel Indicator LED will be it
when the amplifier is in Lead Channel mode.
9. Channel Select switch is used to select
eithe- Lead or Rhythm Channol. This switch
is defeated if an external footswitch is used.
10. Rhythm Channel Indicator LED will be It
when the amplifier Is in Rhythm Channel
mode
RHYTHM CHANNEL CONTROLS
The Rhythm Onannel is a low gain channel and is
designed to be used for clean to medium distor¬
tion sounds.
11. Gain sets the overal gan of the Rhythm
Channel. Use lower settings for dean sounds
and higher settings fer distortion sourds.
12 . Low adjusts the amount of low frequency
tone.
13. Mid adjusts the amount of mid-range fre¬
quency tone.
14. High adjusts the amount ot high frequency
tone.
15. Bright switch gives this channel a bnghter
tone.
16. Level controls the overall volume and should
be used in conjunction with tl>? Gam control

COMMON CONTROLS
The following features are common to both chan¬
nels.
17. Reverb controls [he amount of reverb.
18. Effects Loop Send 1 t\ H jack s used to con¬
nect to tl»- input of an exte-rial effects device.
19. Effects Loop Level switch changes the sig¬
nal level of the effects loop to be acceptable
to different external effects devices. When
the effects loop s being used, this switch
should be set to the position of the lowest
noise and distortion.
20 . Effects Loop Return 1/4" jack is used to
connect to the output of an eiterral effects
device.
CHORUS SECTION
21. Chorus switch turns on the stereo chorus
effect.
22 . Depth sets tne amount of chorus effect.
23. Chorus Indicator LED will be lit when the
cliorus effect is on. The indicator will also
pulsate to show the rate of chorusing. (In
order to reduce wise the chorus isdesgned
to sweep only when signal is present).
24. Rate sets the rate ol sweep of the chorus
and may be used in conjunction with the
depth ccntrcl to create effects from smooth
phasing to heavy vibrato.
25. Powor Indicator LED will bo lit when the
unit is turned on.
26. Power switch turns AC power on or off.
REAR PANEL
27. Channel Select/Reverb Footswitch jack is
to be used with the channel select/reverb
tootswitch.
28. Chorus Footswitch pek is to be used with
the chorus footswitch.
29. Mono Line Output provides a mono mix
output which may be used to ccnnect the
amp to a tape recorcer, mixing board, addi¬
tional power amplifier, or the mono input of
an external effects device.
30. Stereo Line Output 1.4" jack provides
stereo line outputs.
31. Stereo Line Input 1/4" jack provides direct
access to the power amps and may be used
In conjunction with the line output jacks as
a stereo effects loop.
32. Speaker Output jacks: The left and rignt
power amps each have two output jacks
(wired in parallel) to be used for speaker
connection. The tota impedance for each
side should not te less than 4 ohms.
33. Power Cord: Your GX-130C is equipped with
a heavy-duty grounded three-wire power
cord Be sure this cord is properly plugged
into a safely wired grounced 120 volt.60hz
power outlet before use (If your GX13CC
was purchased outside of the United States,
refer to the rear panel for power ratings). For
your safety, never attempt to defeat the
ground connection on this co-d.
