Carefully follow the use and maintenance instructions provided below.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Remove the protective film from the visor before using it for the first time. Before each use, check that
the ring seal is in its seat in the connection between the snorkel and mask; then mount the snorkel,
connecting it to the mask. Never carry the mask holding it by the snorkel. Always check that the float
in the upper part of the snorkel is free to move in its seat, which must be clear of any type of material
(sand, seaweed, etc.). When wearing the mask, check that the silicone skirt sits correctly against the
face and that there is no hair/beard beneath it that could compromise the perfect watertight seal.
Position the elastic strap by centering it on the nape of the neck, and adjust the two straps on the sides
of the face until the seal is perfect and comfortable. Before every use, check that breathing is easy
and that nothing is blocking the normal circulation of air during both the inhale and exhale. The mask
has a float in the upper part of the tube that serves to prevent water from entering the tube in rough
water, when there are ripples on the surface, or when the user lowers their head too far to observe the
sea floor. If water enters the mask, raise your head from the surface so that the water flows out of the
purge valve at the bottom of the mask. To empty water from the mask quickly, we recommend that you
remove the mask and put it back on.
MAINTENANCE:
Rinse the mask thoroughly with fresh water after every use and avoid any kind of rubbing to prevent
scratches on the visor. Do not use solvents, detergents, or abrasive products; these could damage the
polycarbonate parts. This product does not require that you use a no-fog treatment. In fact, its use can
cause damage to the visor lenses. After rinsing, remove the snorkel and leave the item to dry. Store
away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place.
NOTES:
As of yet, there is no harmonized technical standard from the European Committee for Standardization
(CEN) regarding the tests and procedures expected for this type of product.
However, in order to verify the quality and essential safety requirements, the design was validated based
on the applicable requirements under standard EN 1972:2015 (Dive equipment – Snorkels - Require-
ments, testing, marking), EN 1685:2015 (Dive equipment – Masks - Requirements, testing, marking), EN
136:2000 (Respiratory tract protection equipment – Full masks - Requirements, testing, marking), and
EN 250:2014 (Respiratory equipment - Open-circuit self-contained compressed air diving apparatus -
Requirements, testing and marking).
The tests were performed by ITALCERT laboratory testing (notified body #0426), Viale Sarca 336, 20126
Milan (Italy).
