CUTTING HEIGHT

All wheels must be
placed in the same
relative position. For
rough or uneven lawns,
move the height adjust-
ment lever to a higher
position. This will stop
scalping of grass.

IMPORTANT
This unit is shipped
without gasoline or
oil in the engine. Fill
up gasoline and oil
as instructed in the
accompanying engine
manual BEFORE
operating your mower.
4. Insert post on cable ties into holes provided on the
lower handle. Pull cable tie tight and trim excess. See
Step 4 illustration.
Wheel Height Adjustment
5. Each wheel has a height adjustment lever to
change the cutting height of the mower. Depress
height adjustment lever towards the wheel and
slide lever to desired position for a change in
cutting height. See Step 5 illustration.
Converting To Side Discharge
6. Your mower has been shipped as a mulcher.
To convert it to a side-discharge mower, lift the
mulching plug (A). Slide the two hooks on the
side-discharge deflector under the hinge pin
on the mulching plug assembly (B). Lower the
mulching plug. See Step 6 illustration.
