Lastly, verify that the Cold Weather Start Lever is correctly positioned based on the outside temperature: CLOSED/START below 40°F and RUN/OPEN above 40°F.

Finally, make sure enough line is exposed by pushing the bump knob and pulling out line until 4 inches (102 mm) are outside the cutting attachment.
