Problem Cause Remedy
Engine fails to start Fuel tank empty or stale fuel.1.
Throttle control lever not in correct starting 2.
position (if equipped).
Blocked fuel line.3.
Dirty air cleaner.4.
Choke not in ON position.5.
Spark plug wire disconnected.6.
Faulty spark plug.7.
Engine flooded.8.
Fill tank with clean, fresh gasoline. 1.

Move switch to ON position.5.
Connect wire to spark plug.6.
