Do you have a question about the Cubigel DL19H and is the answer not in the manual?
The Cubigel DL19H, DL22H, and DL30H series are 12-24V DC compressors designed for mobile refrigeration applications in vehicles such as trucks, caravans, boats, and cars. These compressors are engineered for compact dimensions, high reliability, and efficient performance, even at tilt angles up to 30°. They operate with R134a refrigerant and are suitable for capillary tube expansion.
These compressors are designed to provide cooling for mobile appliances, operating from a low voltage DC power supply. They feature an electronic driver that controls their operation, including speed, temperature, and battery protection. The electronic driver can be controlled either through resistance settings or via an Electronic Integral Manager (EIM) in serial mode for more advanced control.
* The compressors must always be powered through the dedicated electronic driver supplied with the compressor.
* Direct connection of the compressor's hermetic pins (fusite) to a battery or any other DC/AC source is strictly prohibited.
* Only the electronic driver supplied with the compressor should be used.
* Correct polarity must be observed when connecting the battery to the electronic driver's power input terminals.
* The negative power input terminal of the electronic driver should be referred to the chassis of the vehicle and the appliance frame.
* A fuse must be placed between the positive pole of the battery/DC power supply and the positive power input terminal of the electronic driver.
* To prevent excessive voltage drop, the length and cross-section of power leads must correspond to the voltage supply. For 12V systems, a 2.5 mm² cable can be up to 2.5m, 4 mm² up to 4m, 6 mm² up to 6m, and 10 mm² up to 10m. For 24V systems, these lengths double: 2.5 mm² up to 5m, 4 mm² up to 8m, 6 mm² up to 12m, and 10 mm² up to 20m.
* **Operating Voltage Setting:** The electronic driver allows for setting different battery protection levels using an external resistance connected between pins C and P. For example, with no external resistance (0 KΩ), the 12V stop value is 9.6V, and the 24V stop value is 21.3V. Increasing resistance values adjust these thresholds.
* **Temperature Switch:** The compressor's running speed can be adjusted by connecting a resistance between pins C and T. Without any resistance, the compressor runs at 2000 rpm. Adding resistance increases the speed; for instance, 51 Ω results in 2100 rpm, while 1523 Ω results in 3500 rpm.
* **External Fan:** A 12V DC fan can be connected to the F+ and F- terminals of the controller. The controller maintains a 12V output between these terminals, even if the input voltage exceeds 12V (for 24V systems).
* In this mode, the compressor speed is controlled by an Electronic Integral Manager (EIM) of the appliance. The EIM connects to the electronic driver via the D terminal using serial communication.
* The EIM monitors the internal temperature, compares it with the set point, and determines the compressor's operation and speed.
* This mode allows for advanced control and recording of abnormal circumstances. For detailed communication protocol, contact Huayi Compressor Barcelona S.L.
* The wiring for this mode includes connections for DC input (+/-), a 12V DC fan (F+/F-), a data communication interface (D), a control ground wire (C), and access to a temperature probe (T and C). The P pin is for controller power input protection and is not used in this scheme.
