The primary function of the Cuggl Ebony Deluxe Pushchair is to provide a secure and convenient means of transporting a child. It features a sturdy frame, a comfortable seat unit, and a range of adjustable components to adapt to the child's growth and the parent's needs. The pushchair is designed for single-child use and is not suitable for running or skating.
The pushchair requires some assembly upon receipt. The frame unfolds by releasing a locking catch, lifting the handle bar, and ensuring the hinge fully engages with a "Click" noise. It is crucial to verify that the frame folding mechanism lock is fully engaged before each use to ensure stability.
Front wheels are installed by inserting them into the front wheel hubs until they "Click" into place. They are equipped with a swivel locking device, allowing them to swivel for maneuverability or be locked in a fixed position by sliding a button down. To remove the front wheels, a release button on the side of the wheel hub must be pressed while pulling the assembly downwards. Rear wheels are installed similarly by inserting their spindles into the rear frame hubs until they "Click." A release button on the bottom of the rear wheel hub allows for their removal. It is essential to check that all wheels are securely attached before use.
The pushchair features a reliable brake system located on the rear axle. To engage the brakes, the user presses down on a pedal with their foot. The pushchair may need to be rolled slightly back and forth to ensure the brakes fully engage. To release the brakes, the pedal is lifted with the foot, again possibly requiring slight movement of the pushchair to fully disengage.
The seat unit is a key feature, offering reversibility. It can be attached to the frame in either a forward-facing or parent-facing position.
