The Cuggl Laurel Stroller is a lightweight and compact stroller designed for children from 6 months up to 15kg (approximately 36 months). It is intended for single-child use and is not suitable for running or skating. The stroller complies with safety standard EN1888-1:2018.
The Cuggl Laurel Stroller features a simple assembly process, starting with the front wheels. To assemble the front wheels, press down the lock pin on the front tube and insert the tube into the adaptor on the front wheel until the lock pin fully engages with an audible "Click!" into the plastic hole.
Unfolding the frame involves releasing a red locking catch located on the side of the stroller. Once released, the handles are lifted upwards to open the stroller. A crucial step is to push the rear locking catch down fully with your foot to engage the primary lock, ensuring the stroller is securely open. After unfolding, the stroller should be placed on a flat surface to confirm it moves freely.
The stroller is equipped with a linked parking brake for safety. To engage the brakes, simply press down on the pedal located on the rear wheels with your foot. To release the brakes, lift the same pedal with your foot. The parking device must always be engaged when placing or removing children from the stroller.
A key safety feature is the harness and buckle system. The shoulder straps can be threaded through loops to adjust the shoulder strap height as required. To fasten the waist harness, both buckle clips must be inserted into each side of the buckle until an audible "Click!" is heard, confirming engagement. To release the harness, the buckles are squeezed and pulled apart. The shoulder straps can be adjusted by moving the slides to ensure a correct and secure fit for the child. The restraint system must always be used, and the harness correctly fitted.
Folding the stroller involves a two-step process. First, to release the rear locking catch (1), push the lever in and lift it up with your fingers. Once this is done, the second lock (2) is lifted upwards with the foot until it is released. After releasing the locks, the handles are gripped, and the stroller is pushed forward. The folded stroller is then compressed, and the red locking catch located on the side of the stroller is engaged to secure it in the folded position.
Regular care and maintenance are essential to ensure the longevity and safe operation of the Cuggl Laurel Stroller. Users are advised to always check and inspect the stroller regularly for any signs of wear, such as torn materials, loose screws, bent or broken frame parts, or any missing components. If any of these issues are observed, the stroller should not be used, and the customer care helpline (0345 640 2020) should be contacted for advice.
Moving parts, especially the wheels and the lower parts of the chassis that tend to collect dirt, should be lubricated regularly. Fabric parts can be cleaned according to the fabric care labels. It is important to note that the fabric parts are not suitable for machine washing. The seat should be sponge cleaned only, while the canopy and basket require hand washing.
To prevent damage, the stroller should not be left exposed to direct heat sources, such as radiators or direct sunlight. If the chassis parts have been exposed to salt water, it is recommended to rinse them down with fresh (soapy) water as soon as possible. The product should never be folded or stored while wet, and it should not be stored in a damp environment, as this can lead to mildew formation. Only replacement parts supplied or recommended by the manufacturer/distributor should be used. Using unapproved accessories is not recommended. The stroller should be kept away from naked heat sources like electric bar fires and other hazards that a child could access.
