  If 'CLEAN BASKET' appears on the LCD display of your Cuisinart Coffee Maker, it means coffee grounds and the filter from previous use are still in the filter basket. Remove the filter and used coffee grounds, then add a new filter. Note that the filter basket door must be open for at least 5 seconds to turn off the CLEAN BASKET message.
