What to do if lights are flashing on Cuisinart Kettle?

If the TEA/Cancel or Hot water button lights are flashing when the kettle is off the base, it indicates the unit is paused. Returning the kettle to the base should resume its function. If all indicators are flashing and the buttons don't work, the water level might be too low. Remove the kettle from the base, add water, return it, and begin heating again. This prevents damage to the heating element.
