This guide discusses how to install the D-Link’s DES-1008M Flex-Media
10/100Mbps Ethernet Switch, work with its panels, and make network
connections.
Terms
For simplicity, this documentation uses the terms “Switch” (first letter
upper case) to refer to the DES-1008M Flex-Media Ethernet Switch, and
“switch” (first letter lower case) to refer to all Ethernet switches, including
the DES-1008M.
