CONNECTING THE DES-1018MP TO YOUR NETWORK
A. POWER
Plug the AC power cord into a free wall socket, then plug the other end into the power outlet
of the DES-1018MP. The Power LED will illuminate conrming that the device has powered
up successfully.
B. PoE PORTS (PORTS 1 - 16)
The PoE ports can supply up to a total PoE budget of 246.4 watts, allowing users to attach
an IEEE 802.3af compliant device to the DES-1018MP.

3. Slide the retainer through the tie until it reaches the
end of the cord.
INSTALL THE POWER CORD RETAINER
4. Wrap the tie of the retainer around the power cord
and back into the retainer to lock it.
Fasten the tie until the power cord is secured.
