Configuring via Web-based Interface
Parameter Description
Short GI
Guard interval (in nanoseconds). This parameter defines the interval
between symbols transmitted when the router is communicating to
wireless devices.
Enable: the router uses the 400 ns short guard interval. Only for the
wireless network operating modes which support 802.11n or
802.11ac standard (see the value of the Wireless mode drop-down
list on the Wi-Fi / Basic settings page).
Disable: the router uses the 800 ns standard guard interval.
Enable TX
Beamforming
TX Beamforming is the signal processing/directing technique which
helps to support a high enough transfer rate in the areas with difficult
conditions for the signal propagation.
Select the checkbox to improve the signal quality.
Adaptivity Mode
Select the checkbox to prevent your wireless network from
interfering with radars and other mobile or stationary radio systems.
Such a setting can slow down the router's WLAN.
When you have configured the parameters, click the Apply button.
