Storage
Whilst not in use for long periods, please ensure that you:
1. Empty the water tank and wipe away any excess moisture from the tank and body.
2. Clean the filter.
3. Place the appliance in a cool and dry environment.
Care and Use of your Dehumidifier
• Always disconnect the Dehumidifier from the mains supply before cleaning.
• Do not remove the water tank magnets and plastic rivets from the water tank
otherwise the unit will not automatically stop when the water tank is full causing
water to overflow from the tank.
• Clean the water tank with warm soapy water, do not use harsh abrasive
chemicals.
• Clean the body of the unit with a soft damp cloth.
• To clean the Filter (8), first remove it from the dehumidifier by pulling it at the
top and lifting it away. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove any built up dust or lint.
• If the Filter (8) is badly soiled it can be washed in warm soapy water and a mild
detergent.
• Dry thoroughly before refitting the Filter (8) to the unit.
• Do not use the Dehumidifier with the Filter (8) not fitted.
Technical Specification
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead
and should the fuse needed replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one
(conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating). Never use a plug with the fuse cover
missing. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
