Disconnecting Motor, Thermistor, and Protector Connectors

Disconnect connectors for fan motor, thermistors, and overload protector.

Disconnecting Expansion Valve, Four Way Valve, Compressor, and Reactor Connectors

Disconnect connectors for expansion valves, four way valve, compressor, and reactor.

Final Removal of Electrical Box

Loosen front screw and lift the electrical box to remove it.

3. Removal of PCB

Lifting and Removing PCB

Lift the PCB and then remove it from the unit.

4. Removal of Sound Blankets

Removing Sound Blankets

Release strings and remove outer, top, inner, and bottom sound blankets.

5. Removal of Outdoor Fan / Fan Motor

Removing Outdoor Fan

Remove the washer fitted nut and then the outdoor fan.

Removing Fan Motor

Remove the 4 screws to detach and remove the fan motor.

7. Removal of Four Way Valve / Outdoor Electronic Expansion Valves

Heating and Removing Expansion Valves and Four Way Valve

Heat brazed parts to remove outdoor electronic expansion valves and the four way valve.

Heating and Disconnecting Brazed Pipes

Heat brazed parts and disconnect pipes using pliers.

8. Removal of Compressor

Disconnecting Compressor Terminals

Disconnect the electrical terminals from the compressor.

Heating and Disconnecting Compressor Pipes

Heat discharge and suction side pipes to disconnect them from the compressor.

Lifting and Removing Compressor

Lift the compressor upwards to remove it from the unit.
