What to do if my Daikin Altherma EBLQ014CAV3 Air Conditioner heat pump fails?
    • R
      Ryan CollinsAug 12, 2025
When a Daikin Air Conditioner heat pump failure occurs and auto emergency is activated, the backup heater will automatically take over the heat load, and the booster heater will take over domestic hot water production. If auto emergency is not activated, both domestic hot water and space heating will stop, requiring manual recovery. The user interface will ask for confirmation to allow the backup or booster heater to take over the heat load.

Why am I feeling too cold in my living room with my Daikin Altherma EBLQ014CAV3 Air Conditioner?

      maria22Aug 21, 2025
If you feel too cold or too hot in your living room when using your Daikin Air Conditioner, it might be because the desired room temperature is set too low or too high. Try increasing or decreasing the desired room temperature. If this happens daily, you can either adjust the room temperature preset value or adjust the room temperature schedule. Also, if the desired room temperature cannot be reached, increase the desired leaving water temperature according to the heat emitter type.

What to do if the water is too cold from my Daikin Altherma EBLQ014CAV3 tap?
    • L
      Larry DixonAug 31, 2025
If the water at the tap is too cold when using your Daikin Air Conditioner, it could be due to high domestic hot water consumption. If you need hot water immediately, activate the DHW tank booster mode (note that this uses extra energy). Alternatively, increase the active or next scheduled desired temperature to produce more hot water. If this happens daily, increase the DHW tank temperature preset value or adjust the DHW tank temperature schedule, for example, by programming the DHW tank to heat up to a preset value during the day (note that 'Storage eco' means a lower tank temperature).
