Notes (1) Names, definitions and units are according to JIS K 0101. Units and figures between brackets are
old units published as reference only.
(2) In case of using heated water (more than 40°C), corrosion is generally noticeable. Especially when
the iron materials is in direct contact with water without any protection shields, it is desirable to give
the valid measure for corrosion. E.g. chemical measure.
(4) Supply water is considered drink water, industrial water and ground water except for genuine water,
neutral water and soft water.
(5) The above mentioned items are representable items in corrosion and scale cases.
