Hot milk preparation
Pour the milk into a pitcher.
Put the steam wand (

Pic.2) in the pitcher and turn the steam knob (

Pic.2) anticlockwise. Turn off
the steam knob when the desired milk temperature has been reached. As soon as this operation is
completed, clean the steam wand with a damp cloth to remove any milk deposits. Then let some steam
onto the drip tray to clear the inner part of the steam wand of milk residues using a damp cloth to
protect yourself from possible spurts.
Hot water supply
Place a vessel (resistant to a temperature of 125°C or higher) underneath the hot water outlet (

and rotate the M dial knob on or - the two functions differ in the quantity of water provided (if MCS
is present, only will be available).
The quantity of hot water for infusions can be set during machine installation; this setting must be
carried out exclusively by the installer.
NOTE
To obtain good quality milk foam,
it is necessary to perform a specific
procedure during milk heating.
Due to safety reasons, the procedure
is not described in this manual,
but it can be taught in training courses
or specific videos. Grab and handle
the steam wand by its insulating hook.
Avoid turning on the steam knob
before placing the steam wand into
the pitcher to avoid getting burned.

Avoid pushing the hot water button
before placing the pipe into a vessel
to avoid getting burned.
