Product Inspection

Connecting the 902 to Your Audio System

Balanced Connection

Connect signal leads to A+ and A- terminals or pin 3 (hot) and pin 2 (cold) of XLR for F900A mainframe and FS900 miniframe respectively.

Unbalanced Connection

Wire hot lead to A+ and shield to A- for mainframe, or pin 3 and pin 2 of XLR for miniframe; check phase if hum occurs.

Front Panel Operations

Frequency Control

Sets the crossover frequency (800 Hz to 8 kHz) for separating high/low frequencies for de-essing sibilants.

Range Control

Sets the amount of de-essing effect. Normal region is for vocals; beyond that is for special effects or instrumental material.
