CHAPTER 1
1.1 - INTRODUCTION
This manual is an integral and essential part of the product, and has to be given to the user. Please read the instructions that you will
find in the handbook very carefully, as they give some important information on the installation, use, and maintenance safety. Keep
this manual carefully in case you need further references.
1.2 - GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
WING-series pistons are designed to respond to the most modern automation techniques. The choice of components and the high level of
finishing bring these products up to a very high level, and are both trustworthy and decidedly pleasing to the eye.
• Ideal for mounting out-of-doors.
• All mechanical parts are lubricated with grease.
• Irreversible pistons are guaranteed to lock the gate, whereas reversible ones permit opening from outside and require an electric
locking mechanism.
• Irreversible pistons have an unlocking device with a customised key, which means you can open the gate even when the electricity has
gone off.
• They extend 390 mm.
Please note: we advise you to use gate wings of no more than 1.5 metres for irreversible pistons, and 2.5 for reversible ones.

1.6 - ACCESSORIES
The DEA SYSTEM electronic and mechanical accessories, which are suitable for the WING electromechanical linear piston, are:
