CHAPTER 5
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
After the open command is given, the
wing does not move and the electric
motor of the piston does not start.
After the open command is given, the
electric motor of the device starts up, but
the gate does not move.
The front and rear attachments of the
mechanism move backwards and for-
wards or are not fastened correctly.
The unlocking device is closed.
Check the electronic force-regulating
device.
The gate wing does not swing freely.
The gear is not powerful enough for the
wing characteristics.
There are problems with the photocells.
The connections are not correct.
No electric current in the device.
TYPES OF FAILURES PROBABLE CAUSES REMEDIES
Fuses burnt out.
Power cord damaged.
The unlocking device is open.
When the gate is closed, make sure the
piston is not fully extended.
Make sure the piston is mounted as
described in chapter 4. Measure piston
extension.
Close the manual unlocking device..
Repair or reinforce the attachments
Check usage conditions as specified in
chapter 1.5.
Unlock the piston and see if the gate
wing turns; rectify the rotation points.
Check the photocells and their connec-
tions.
Set the correct connection again.
Turn on the current
Replace the damaged fuses with new ones
of equal value.
Even when the correct command is
given, the gate does not close.
When opening, the piston jumps intermit-
tently.
