  Ignition failure in your Dean fryer can stem from a few key issues. First, ensure that the gas and electrical power supplies are properly connected: check the quick disconnect hose, confirm the fryer is plugged in, verify the main gas supply valve is open, and ensure the circuit breaker for the fryer electrical supply hasn't tripped. Also, if your fryer has a SUFF/UFF filtration system, make sure the drain valve is fully closed. For gas valve problems, refer to the troubleshooting guides.

  If your Dean fryer's burner isn't working right, several things could be the cause. Start by checking that the incoming gas pressure matches the CE or Non-CE standards. Make sure the pilot is correctly placed above the burner opening and that the burner openings and flame-transfer holes aren't blocked. Also, look for uneven or weak flames on the burner. Check for kitchen air supply issues and inspect the ignition module for damage. Finally, ensure the ignition wire is secure and undamaged, the burner deflector targets are aligned, and the vent tube is clear.
