  If the Defiant Security Sensors light isn't turning on, here are some things to check: * Ensure the light switch is turned on. * See if a fuse is blown or the circuit breaker is off; replace the fuse or turn the breaker on. * If it's daytime, the photocell feature might be active; recheck after dark. * For new installations, verify the circuit wiring is correct. * Make sure the motion sensor is aimed correctly. * If the outside temperature is similar to body heat, increase the “SENS” setting.

  If your Defiant Security Sensors lights stay on continuously, it could be due to several reasons: * The motion sensor might be detecting a heat source. Try decreasing the “SENS” setting or repositioning the sensor. * The sensor could be in manual mode. Switch it to auto. * A dimmer or timer might be connected to the sensor. Remove these and use a standard on/off switch. * The sensor might be on the same circuit as a motor, transformer, or fluorescent bulb. Install it on a separate circuit.
