Function
To program the type of backgauge construction that is used.
Description
With this parameter the type of backgauge instruction on the machine is indicated. The control
makes a distinction between two types of backgauges, console type or crossbeam type.
0 = console type (default)
1 = crossbeam
Press the key to select the required setting.
The different backgauge types are described at the beginning of this section. For a system with a
relative X2 axis as described with parameter XX, this parameter should also be set to 0.
Console type
This is a backgauge construction with independent gauges, each backgauge is driven by its own
gauge construction. The positions of X1 and X2 can be programmed directly. The parameter
‘backgauge type’ should be programmed to 0.
In user mode, the gauge positions and axis values are identical.
