V1101, 9.31
C Make some more pressing movements and turn potentiometer RP5 until the part support
is following the part bending in a optimal way and is not faster than the beam
movement.
** Adjustment of the gain on deceleration of the beam (see O2 in the blockdiagram of
principle PID-controller) Part support arms cannot follow the plate, e.g. Y-axis too fast.
The beam will be decelerated by activating the Y-brake input of the module.
C Release the pressing command during the bending stroke, so that the part support is in a
lifted position.
C Turn potentiometer RP4 until the Y-brake input of the module is just starting to light
(activating).
C Now you can check whether the part support is also following the part while bending
with higher pressing speeds. The bigger the difference between the required part support
angle and the measured angle the more the Y-brake will be activated, so that the beam
will be braked more frequently.
C For dual part support you must first adjust each part support separately, as they are single
part supports. Then make the connections as in the connection diagram. The Y-brake will be
active when one of the two support arms will have a too large error signal. Potentiometer RP4
needs only to be adjusted at the DBT01 card of which output T (See standard connection
diagram) is connected to the module input Y-brake.
