Function
Maximum value of AD-converted potentiometer voltage. This value represents the maximum
angle at which the part support arm may be positioned. See also adjustment procedure part
support parameters.
Adjustment procedure part support parameters
To be sure that the part support is following the sheet metal plate fluently. The part support
should be adjusted as follows:
- Go to to the auxiliary menu and program the part support (1, 21).
- Press ‘change parameters’ and program the DM-identifier and Box-number.
- Program for Min. value and DA-min 0.
- Program for Max. value and DA-max 255.
- Go to the manual mode.
- Move the part support arm to the mechanical minimal position by means of the
handwheel or to the position that corresponds with 0 degrees angle.
- Read out the value on the screen (Manual mode, manual positioning). This value corres-
ponds with the number of DA-points. Remember that value and program it at the end of
the adjustment procedure at the parameter DA-min.
- Now move the part support to the mechanical maximal position or to the position that
corresponds with 90 degrees angle.
- Read out the value on the screen (Manual mode, manual positioning). This value corres-
ponds with the number of DA-points. Remember the value and program it at the end of
the adjustment procedure at the parameter DA-max.
- Program now the found DA-values to the corresponding machine parameters and
program Min. Value at 0 (read 0 degrees) and Max. Value at 90 (read 90 degrees).
