Removing the touch pad

Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the battery.
3 Remove the rear cover.
4 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 8 in “Removing the palm rest and
keyboard assembly.
Procedure
1 Peel o the tape that secures the touch pad to the palm rest and keyboard
assembly.
2 Remove the four screws (M2x2) that secure the touch pad to the palm rest and
keyboard assembly.
