Steps
1. Loosen the four captive screws that secure the heat-sink to the system board in the reverse sequential order mentioned on
the heat-sink [4 > 3 > 2 > 1].
2. Lift and remove the heat-sink from the system board.

Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
NOTE:
If either the system board or the heat-sink is replaced, use the thermal grease provided in the kit to ensure that
thermal conductivity is achieved.
