Installing the side cover
1 Place the cover on the computer, slide it to align it with the chassis and tighten the captive screws to secure the cover to the
computer [1].
2 Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer
Expansion card
Removing expansion card
1 Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2 Remove the Side cover.
3 To remove the expansion card:
a Pull the metal tab to open the expansion card latch [1].
b Pull the release tab at the base of the expansion card [2].
c Disconnect and lift the expansion card away from the connector on the system board [3].
