Removing the Speakers
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the base cover.
4. Remove the hard drive.
5. Remove the optical drive.
6. Remove the keyboard.
7. Remove the palm rest.
8. Remove the tape that secures the speaker cable to the front of the palm rest.
9. Remove the tapes that secure the speaker cables to the back of the palm rest.
