• The appliance is equipped with a security device
(delay of 3 minutes) that protects the compressor
against too frequent starts and stops.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Alwaysremovetheplugfromthepowersocketbeforeperform-
ing any cleaning or maintenance operations. For safety reasons,
never wash the dehumidier using a water jet.
Cleaning the cabinet
• Cleantheapplianceusingadampcloththendrywithadry
cloth.
• Never use petrol, alcohol or solvents to clean the appliance.
• Never spray the appliance with insecticides or similar. These
could cause the plastic parts to warp.
Cleaning the dust air lter
If the lter is dirty, air circulation is compromised and the ef-
ciency of dehumidifying is decreased. It is therefore good
practice to clean the lter at regular intervals. The frequency
depends on the environment and the duration of operation.
If the unit is used constantly or systematically, you are recom-
mended to clean the lter once a week.
• Toremovetheairlter,afterliftingthehandle(A3)vertically
(seeg.5),removethegriller(A4),gainingleveragenearthe
areas marked with the symbols / then pull outwards
toreleaseit(seeg.5).Atthispoint,removethelterby
pullingitoutusingthespecialapprovided(seeg.6).
• Useavacuumcleaner to removedust accumulations from
the lter. If the lter is very dirty, rinse well with lukewarm
water.Thetemperatureofthewatershouldnotexceed40˚C.
Afterwashingthelter,allowittodrycompletelybeforere-
inserting it.
• Replace the airlter (A5), inserting the lowerpart of the
lter into the dedicated supports rst, making sure that the
word“UP”isfacingtowardstheupperpartofthegrille(see
g. 7), then slightly bend the lter and insert the upper part
in the supports provided (see g. 7).
If the appliance is not used for long periods
• After unplugging the appliance from the power socket,
empty the tank.
• Cleanandrepositionthelter.
• Covertheappliancewithaplasticbagtoprotectitfromdust.
DISPOSAL
The appliance must not be disposed of with house-
hold waste, but taken to an authorised waste separa-
tion and recycling centre.
