Danger of burns!
During rinsing, a little hot water comes out of the coee spouts
and is collected in the drip tray underneath.
Avoid contact with splashes of water.
Making coee using coee beans
Important!
Do not use caramelised or candied coee beans as they could
stick to the coee mill and make it unusable.
1. Fill the container with coee beans (g. 12).
2. Place under the coee spouts:
- 1 cup, if you want 1 coee (g. 9);
- 2 cups, if you want 2 coees (g. 13);
3. Lower the spout as near as possible to the cups. This ma-
kes a creamier coee (g. 14).
4. Press the button corresponding to the number of coe-
es required (1 cup or 2 cups ) (gs. 10 and
15).
5. Preparation begins. The amount of coee selected is di-
splayed together with a progress bar which gradually lls
as preparation progresses (g. 16).
Once the coee has been made, the appliance prepares to
make the next drink.

Once the coee has been made, the appliance is ready to be

Important!
If the coee is delivered a drop at a time, too fast and not cre-
amy enough or too cold, read the tips in the “Troubleshooting”

is in use. Their meaning is explained in the section “Displayed
messages”.
Making coee using pre-ground coee
Important!

Please note!
If you use pre-ground coee, you can only make one cup of
coee at a time.
1. Press the button repeatedly (g. 7) until “Pre-
ground” ashes on the display.
2. Put one level measure of pre-ground coee into the fun-
nel (g. 17).
3. Place a cup under the coee spouts.
4. Press the 1 cup button (g. 10).
5. Preparation begins. The amount of coee selected is di-
splayed together with a progress bar which gradually lls
as preparation progresses.
MAKING DRINKS WITH MILK
Please note!
If energy saving has been enabled, delivery could be delayed
a few seconds.
Filling and attaching the milk container
1. Turn the lid of the milk container clockwise until it beco-
not exceeding the MAX level marked on the handle (g.
19).
Please note!
For a richer denser froth, use skimmed or partially skimmed
milk at refrigerator temperature (about 5°C).
To avoid milk with poor froth or large bubbles, always clean
the milk lid and hot water nozzle as described in the section
“Cleaning the milk container” on pages 14 and 16.
3. Make sure the milk intake tube is correctly inserted in the
bottom of the milk container lid (g. 20).
4. Replace the milk container lid and turn anticlockwise as
far as it will go.
5. Remove the hot water spout from the nozzle (g. 21).
6. Attach the container to the nozzle and push as far as it
will go (g. 22). The machine emits a beep (if the beep
function is enabled).
