• If it is not to be used for a longer period of time, unscrew the pressure reducer.
7.2 Replacing reusable CO bottle
• For an empty bottle: Close bottle valve. Unscrew union nut with 27 mm spanner and screw pressure reducer onto a new,
full reusable CO bottle. Open bottle valve. The bubble count setting is retained.
• For a full bottle: Close bottle valve. Turn the needle valve on the pressure reducer to release any residual pressure in
the pressure reducer (if a magnet valve is connected, it must be open). Unscrew the union nut with a 27 mm spanner and
screw the pressure reducer onto a new full reusable CO bottle. Open the cylinder valve. Reset the bubble count.
• Always close the bottle valve if the CO supply is stopped for a longer period of time. If it is not to be used for a longer
period of time, unscrew the pressure reducer.
7.3 Checking the CO check valve
The check valve protects your valuable pressure reducer or magnet valve against corrosion by returning water. As dirt particles
can settle on the sealing surfaces over time, the check valve should be checked at least once a year and should be replaced
every 2-3 years.
Tip: Temporarily install a transparent test hose between the check valve and the pressure reducer or magnet valve and switch
off the CO supply for 24 hours (close pressure reducer or magnet valve). If there is water in the test hose after this time, the
check valve is leaking.
It is only possible to perform a continuity test of the check valve with CO, as the minimum pressure for opening is approx. 0.3
bar. A „blow through“ test is not possible.
Important note: Only use check valves that are designed for operation with CO, such as the Dennerle CO special check
valve. Standard air check valves can become brittle through contact with CO in a short time, which leads to leakage.
7.4 Replacing the seal in the pressure reducer
There is a long-life seal in the connection piece of the pressure reducer. Replacement during the service life of the pressure
reducer is generally not necessary. The seal can only be replaced with special tools: Please send the pressure reducer to
Dennerle After-Sales Service.
7.5 Replacing the seal in the adapter
We recommend that the seal (part no. 3056) in the adapter for connection to reusable bottles be replaced regularly to ensure a
tight bottle connection at all times.
7.6 Removing the CO hose
After a long period of operation, the CO hose can get very tight on the connection points of the pressure reducer and other CO
devices. To remove the hose, it is best to lever it off with a small screwdriver. Do not force off or cut open with a knife to avoid
damage to the hose connections! [26]
7.7 Cleaning the CO flipper
• Pull the CO collection tank straight upwards. [27]
• Place the flipper in your hand so that the suction cups point to the right.
Move the front side wall of the flipper approx. 2 cm upwards. [28]
• Fold out the side wall. [29]
• Extract the CO tube, do not pull it out. [30]
• Clean all parts with warm water and a soft sponge. Do not use cleaning agents.
• Reassemble the flipper in reverse order.
CAUTION: Insert the CO tube into the side wall so that the end is at the bottom stop.
